Welcome

The Downtown Central Neighbourhood Association is made up of community members living downtown who strives to provide opportunities for all residents living downtown, from seniors to students to families to businesses. The downtown encompasses so many different aspects of community and it is the DCNA's responsibility to help be a voice for residents, a responsibility that we strive to provide each and eveyday.

When the downtown neighbourhood association came to be once again back in April of 2017, we as a group couldn't help but notice the advocation for the children and youth living downtown that came from the staff and team of parents that are the Central Spartans. We soon relized that they were the voice for the children and youth that were in need of a community...their community. It was than that the NA was involving and the DCNA was formed.

We have recently been approved to become the next location of a neighbourhood Hub, and are advocating for it to become one of the first inclusive children and youth hub that promotes learning, coding, intergrational learning and a safe place for all.
